“At each and every monthly meeting held by the board of directors with the attendance of management officers and staff present. The financial reports of revenue and expenses are reviewed by each officer and voted as to accept or deny sais expense or revenue associated with said monthly report.”

“COPS also has created a Facebook account and iCONTACT email blast in order to provide the members with legal updates, case law, upcoming classes, current events and political issues to ensure the member is up on current events. A financial report is provided of donations made to the surviving family of an officer that has been killed while on duty. COPS board of directors and legal staff review every request for political endorsement. A vote by the board will take place and all endorsements are displyed on the COPS website under the Endorsements tab. COPS pay (refunds) member $200 a day if they are suspended up to 10 days after appeal has been exhausted and sustained. COPS pay member $3,000 if terminated after all avenues of appeal has been exhausted and sustained.”

“The officers in this organization are not compensated for the services they render.”

“Upon request the documents are produced in hard copy in person to the requesting party member. The board of directors and management officers made the decision that the board of directors, management officers and office staff will not be compensated for their voluntary services to this organization.”
