Part i & part iii - mission and activities continued to provide community leaders for community enhancement and revitalization through intercity real estate development, browfield clean-up, loan funds, and strategic planning. To assist other not-for-profit organizations. To lessen the burdens of government in the area of new projects in the greater lafayette community. To assist community revitalization by providing loans for small businesses or real estate project identified as important to the community.

Accounting for uncertainty in income taxes requires an organization to measure, recognize, present, and disclose in its financial statements uncertain tax positions that the op=rganization has taken or expects to take on its tax returns. The organizations recognizes the tax benefits from uncertain tax positions only if it is more likely than not that the tax position will be sustained on examination by the taxing authorities, based on the technical merits of the position. The tax benefits recognized in the financial statements from such positions are measured based on the largest benefit that has a greater than 50% likelihood of being realized upon ultimate settlement. The organization has no uncertain tax positions that qualify for either recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. The federal and state income tax returns of greater lafayette commerce and subsidiaries for 2014, 2013, and 2012 are subject to examination by taxing authorities (generally for three years after they were filed).
