Mission

1) to promote the education of the general public concerning the preservation of historical buildings; 2) to promote the common good and general welfare of the citizens of indianapolis by bringing about civic betterment and social improvements in downtown indiana- polis and especially in the lockerbie square historic preservation district; 3)to organize and facilitate community and state involvement in the ongoing preservation and development of the lockerbie square historic preservation district; 4) to repair, maintain and develop the infra-structure of this historic area; 5) to promote such other purposes as may be from time to time permitted under section 501 (c)(4) of the code; and 6) to solicit and collect funds by various lawful means which funds, along with the income thereon, shall be used exclusively for the above purposes.
