ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0An extension of the 2022 return was filed by Morrow Accounting. In September of 2023, the executive director retired and was replaced by a new director. Apparently Morrow Accounting never filed the 2022 by the extended date nor notified by Organization that the 2022 was not filed. The new director was not aware the 2022 return was extended and was due November 15, 2023 since she had beed with the Organiation for a short time. The Organization replaced Morrow Accounting with Kevin Hixon, CPA. In September of 2024, while the new CPA was preparing the 2023 990, the Organization became aware that the 2022 return had not been prepared or filed and immediately notified the CPA. The Organization takes its tax filings seriously and assures the Service, that future filings will be timely filed.
