“The annual Form 990 is reviewed by the organization's finance committee and the treasurer. Any revisions need to be approved by the executive committee.”

“The company's conflict of interest policy is monitored via annual disclosures required by all board members. When a conflict of interest arises, the interested members abstain from voting on the transaction.”

“The personnel committee is given the task of making all wage recommendations, including those of the general manager. The personnel committee considers the wages of comparable types of positions within the community (also considering this position does not have the ability to make decisions), personal performance, cost of living, hours of work recorded and fluctuations in job responsibility. The Executive Committee approves the final compensation for the general manager. These final decisions are documented contemporaneously.”
