“The shropshire voice: asra produces the a publication 3 times a year with associatio news, show results, breader news, youth news and breeder advertising. This is mailed to every paid member (approx 400) as well as new breeders and owners. It is also available at sheep promotion events throughout.”

“Pedigree service: asra's maintains all of the pedigree and ownership information on registered shropshire sheep with approximentaly 42,000 head in the databse. Asra members and breeders submit applications to the asra office with appropriate fees and 5 generation pedigrees.”

“Youth activities: asra supports the youth in the organization by providing programs to encourage the purchase and exhibition of shropshire sheep through the futurity program. Also funds are available to each district to help with awars or regional activies. Tow college scholarships are available annually.”
