Opportunity services - ywca's opportunity services encompasses support provided to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in northeast indiana. Our twenty-four-hour crisis line, which handled 3050 calls in 2021, is staffed by trained volunteers who can provide immediate support and information to those in crisis due to an act of sexual violence and/or domestic violence. Ywca northeast indiana also employs two full-time therapists that work onsite at our domestic violenc crisis shelter and have onsite hours at the allen county department of health, as well as offer services virtually. Ywca therapists offer support to ywca clients or any individual who has experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, dating violence, and similar crimes. Therapy is free of charge, is available to both individuals and families, and participants do not have to be ywca clients. In 2021, 171 ywca clients utilized our therapy services over 930 therapy sessions. As part of opportunity services, ywca provides a continuum of services for women, men, and children in our six county service area who have experienced domestic violence. We provide a twenty-four-hour crisis shelter for families fleeing their homes due to domestic violence. Our crisis shelter is comprised of staff around the clock assisting clients with identifying their needs, connecting to resources, and planning for a safe future. During 2021, 573 adults and children were assisted through our programs at the shelter.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4C

Success services - as part of the continuum of care provided to victims and survivors of domestic violence, we offer advocacy services/case management to clients living in the shelter and clients staying out in the community. In 2021, 612 individuals received advocacy services, which includes the highest number of community-based clients served in agency history. The need for ywca's domestic violence advocacy services is great. Dress for success - the dress for success program empowers disadvantaged women to achieve economic independence by providing them with a network of support, professional attire for job interviews and court appearances, and career development skills. The dress for success career center provides tools such as resume building, interview critique, and job search assistance. Dress for success staff also facilitate economic empowerment classes that feature the allstate moving ahead financial empowerment curriculum. In 2021, 125 women participated in dress for success programming, including suiting and career development support. Education - as part of our continuum of services, we strive to provide prevention and intervention education in northeast indiana. We offer the only teen dating violence program certified by the indiana department of education in accordance with heather's law for the northeast indiana area. The curriculum is called eyes wide openrelationship awareness. The program was created by ywca northeast indiana and has been marketed to other organizations. We take this program as well as our other youth programs, cybersense and digital citizenship 101 to schools throughout northeast indiana to educate students about healthy relationships, teen dating violence, and the dangers of cyberbullying, sexting, and texting. In addition, we offer adults in our community education about domestic violence and tailored presentations for professionals. In 2021, a total of 3,384 adults and youth received prevention and intervention education through our education program. The number of participants was lower in 2021 due to the difficulty of scheduling presentations because of ongoing effects of the pandemic. Due to the pandemic, ywca's education program is now able to offer all presentations in a virtual format.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 4D

Racial justice - ywca northeast indiana provides education beyond domestic violence as we work in our six county service area and across the state with our racial justice programming. Within our education activities, we provide workplace training on diversity with three different formats. In addition, ywca has historically offered a monthly event series called diversity dialogues where community members come to increase their knowledge on topics related to diversity. While diversity dialogues were still on hold due to covid in 2021, ywca focused on enhancing internal training through participation in the local united front initiative.
