The specific purposes of the Organization include without limitation, the following: a) To foster, promote and advance participation in the growth and development of Baseball; b) To encourage and assist amateur athletes and their participation in local, national and international competition in the sport of Baseball; c) To educate and inform the public of all aspects of the benefits to be derived from Baseball; d) To guard the interest of the organizations teams and to encourage good sportsmanship and fair play; e) To work cooperatively with local school districts and municipal recreation departments to reach the largest number of children possible, to keep the cost of our programs low, and to provide assistance to economically disadvantaged children as possible the opportunity to benefit from our programs and training; f) To train students in basic skills up through advanced skills, and to encourage them to attend local and state wide competitions and tournaments; g) To make training
