Nlurc began the process of starting an on-site clinic with plans of opening in november 2025. Nlurc will be equipped to provide full-scale hiv and sti screenings and prep prescriptions to clients. Nlurc was able to get its 318, 340b program running after five years of planning and working toward this goal. To date, over 80 individuals have received hiv/sti screenings and prep through nlurc's partnership with freddie. This partnership not only supports the sustainability of nlurc's programming, but it also fills a major gap throughout the state providing discreet screenings and prep to individuals without them needing to leave their homes. Nlurc has had 20 positive sti screenings since the partnership began evidencing the need for accessible at-home testing services across the state. Nlurc received a short-term ending the hiv epidemic grant from december 24 -may 2025 with the goal of testing 75 individuals. Nlurc far exceeded that goal, testing 92, and received a second ending the hiv epidemic grant for fiscal year 2025-2026. This grant has allowed nlurc to sustain its prevention programming while awaiting the contract for its cdbg prevention program. Nlurc restarted its fatherhood program with funding from cuyahoga county's fatherhood initiative. This funding allows nlurc to expand the existing youth programming to include classes for custodial and noncustodial fathers and their children. Since the program's implementation, nlurc has served over 70 families and has been able to provide a positive and constructive activity to help improve parent-child relationships through the shared experience of martial arts and kickboxing. Through the support of gund foundation and the general operating support from cwf, nlurc was able to run a free legal clinic for latinx newcomers to assist with free legal advice, legal support, asylum applications, work- permit applications, and green card applications. Nlurc served over 100 latinx newcomers in 2024 through this program. In 2024, nlurc served over 2,500 individuals across all services including hiv care services, hiv prevention and education, youth/fatherhood programming, and immigration/newcomer services. Nlurc also engaged in advocacy efforts throughout the year, helping to ensure that the least of these continue to be cared for in these uncertain times. Nlurc distributed food to 2629 people from 1468 households in 2024, providing over 23,500 meals to clients and community members. Last year, nlurc served over 1800 people living with hiv/aids through medical case management, housing case management, legal services, recovery services, nutrition/food pantry services, transportation support, and pharmacy services. Nlurc helped over 1000 clients obtain and/or maintain stable affordable housing in the past year through legal support, landlord-tenant mediation, utility and back rent assistance, and other forms of advocacy. Recent audits show that over 80% of clients are regularly linked to medical care and are virally-suppressed. In 2024, nlurc provided free hiv screenings to over 200 individuals and hiv prevention education and outreach to over 500 people. These essential prevention services target underserved and vulnerable populations including the latinx community and others not reached by current hiv prevention efforts. By completing this work, nlurc is working to reduce the spread of hiv in the community and help to end the hiv epidemic in cuyahoga county. Over 100 people including 50 fathers and their children received free shaolin kung fu and kickboxing lessons through nlurc's youth and fatherhood programming. These services link young adults and fathers and their children to free martial arts and kickboxing. The program serves as a violence prevention program for youth and supports the development of healthy parent-child relationships through shared experience. With the support of nlurc's hiv prevention program, nlurc is also able to offer free hiv screenings to prevention and to con

Nueva luz complies with fasb asc 740 - accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. Fasb asc 740 details how organizations should recognize, measure, present and disclose uncertain tax positions that have been or are expected to be taken. As such, the financials would reflect expected future tax consequences of uncertain tax positions presuming the taxing authorities' full knowledge of all relevant facts, if they existed. Management believes there are no uncertain tax positions. Nueva luz's tax years that remain subject to examination by the internal revenue service are december 31, 2022 and forward.
