The event was cancelled due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, but we did still award our yearly Scholarships to two Riverdale Highschool Seniors at $250 each for a total of $500. We also had already paid for some lighting improvements for our local Gormley Park prior to being notified by the State of Ohio that events such as this needed to be cancelled. The amount for that was $3871.95 and was included in the expense line 16.

ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt0Th2020 tax files was filed twice. Once on May 9, 2021, and it was sent back for corrections concerning reporting any contributions of $5000 or more from any one contributor and those were corrections and explanations were sent back with an updated tax return on 4/24/2021. They have been sent back again with another request to correct it again. Although I feel the explanation and corrections were given, the file was done on paper. Therefore, I am going to try to file the corrections electronically and hopefully it is accepted. As mentioned, when filed previously, we did not hold the event in 2020 due to the pandemic although we did receive some small contributions to help cover some of the expenditures made prior to the cancellation of the event.
