Governance Explanations

Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 7A

Election of members and their rights - the election of trustees shall be held at the annual meeting of the members or a special meeting called for that purpose. The election shall be by ballot and a majority of all votes cast shall be necessary. At the first regular meeting of january, the trustees so elected shall meet and organize by the election of a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer who shall be elected for one year and shall serve until their successors are elected and qualified.

Any officer of the department may be removed for case by the affirmative vote of six members of the board of trustees at a meeting thereof duly called and held for such purpose.
