“If the 990 is available from the audit firm, the 990 is reviewed by the governing body prior to being filed. If the 990 is not available far enough in advance to be reviewed by the governing board before being filed, it is reviewed by the governing board at a meeting date after the filing. Copies of the 990 are provided to all governing board members for their review. Opportunities are provided to them during meetings to ask questions or express concerns regarding the document.”

“Officers, directors and board members are required to disclose any possible conflicts of interest prior to accepting appointment to the board. The conflict of interest policy requires the individual to update their statement if their circumstances change. The conflict policy is actively enforced. If any disclosed/undisclosed conflict arises, it would be dealt with on an individual basis with the parties involved.”

At december 31, 2020 and 2019, the organization did not have any unrecognized tax benefits. The organization's policy is to classify interest and penalties recognized in connection with income tax matters in interest expense and management and general expense, respectively.”
