“The ceo reviews the return, which is followed by a review by the treasurer and finance committee before the presentation to the board.”
“Employees of the organization and board members annually complete a disclosure statement. With the board member who is an interested person excused from such deliberations (if applicable), the board's executive committee will determine whether the financial interest of the interested person constitutes a conflict of interest requiring that further steps be taken by the board or the board's executive committee with respect to any deliberations or decisions concerning matters related to such conflict of interest. The interested person may not participate in such deliberations of the board or vote on any matters arising from such deliberations.”
“The finance and executive committees review ceo compensation with other similar positions, primarily based on tax information from guidestar or a similar source. The board of trustees then approves the compensation recommended by those committees.”
“The governing documents, conflict of interest policy and financial statements are made available upon request.”
“The income from these endowment funds will be used for the needs of the organization at the discretion of the board of trustees.”
