The chief executive officer reviews form 990 prior to filing.

Sufficient information concerning a possible conflict must be provided to the employee's immediate supervisor. This information will be forwarded to the executive director who will review the details of the situation. If the executive director believes there is a potential conflict of interest, he will present details of the situation with his recommendations to the appropriate committee of the governing board. The committee will then present its recommendations to the board of trustees. After appropriate legal counsel, the board of trustees will take action on the matter and determine if a conflict of interest does exist. If a conflict exists, the employee will be required to modify or terminate the outside activity as a condition for continuing employment with the organization. The executive director must disclose to the board president any potential conflict.
