Greater Akron Chamber

“The governing documents of the greater akron chamber of commerce authorize the delegation of certain powers and duties to an executive committee. This committee is composed of elected officers and the immediate past chairman, and is empowered to discharge the responsibilities of the board of directors between its regular meetings. The executive committee meets at least four times per year and may take action on behalf of the board, subject to the authority delegated to it. All actions require a quorum and majority vote of committee members present.”

The policy also prohibits the use of chamber client lists for personal or private solicitation. Annual certification is required to affirm compliance and disclose any exceptions.”
