“The organization had no liabilities at year end. In its initial year of operations, expenses exceeded revenue and were supported by founder contributions and donations. Expenses included startup and organizational costs, government filing fees, and program-related supplies. Program expenses consisted of fishing equipment provided to youth participants to keep including rods, tackle boxes, bait, and educational materials, as well as outreach and staff apparel, all incurred in furtherance of the organization's exempt purpose of youth fishing education, conservation, and water safety.”
