| During fiscal year 2024-2025, Montrose Pride made significant progress in fulfilling its mission to build a more inclusive future for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals in Montrose County through expanded programming and increased community engagement. The organization's flagship Montrose Pride Festival grew by 16 percent, increasing from 750 to 870 attendees, demonstrating growing community support and engagement in a rural Colorado county where approximately 9.3 percent of residents identify as LGBTQ+. Building on this momentum, the organization launched three new programs designed to address specific needs within the LGBTQ+ community. The Cocktails With Queers program was established to provide adults aged 21 and over with a safe, supportive social space, consistently attracting 10 to 20 participants per event. The Coffee With Queers program was expanded to include a Donate a Coffee initiative, which has provided 67 donated beverages since its September launch, ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent community members from accessing social enrichment opportunities. Additionally, the new Aging With Pride program was launched to address the unique needs of LGBTQ+ adults aged 50 and older, with consistent attendance of 15 or more individuals at each gathering.
