Organization's process to review form 990 after our financial and legal teams review the form 990, and confer with officers and staff to confirm the material is complete and accurate, a copy of the final draft of the 990 is sent to the board to provide an opportunity for comment and to the executive director for approval and signature.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12C

The organization's conflict of interest policy covers directors, officers, and persons with substantial influence over the organization. Any individual that has a financial interest, directly or indirectly, in a transaction that is under consideration by the organization must disclose it to the board of directors or a board committee upon the individual becoming aware of the proposed transaction. The board or committee shall determine if a conflict of interest exists and whether it is approprate to proceed with the transaction. The individual that has the conflict shall not be present during the discussion or determination of whether a conflict of interest exists or the evaluation of the transaction. Each year the directors, officers, top officials, and key employees of the organization sign a statement of compliance and annual disclosure to denote if conflicts exist.
