“The organization for texas military education (otme) is dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories of our veterans from all wars of the 20th century. This is primarily accomplished by operating through a dba, the military museum of fort worth. The otme also has an extensive outreach program that provides both educational seminars and temporary exhibits to air shows. Libraries, universities, public schools, veteran association groups, the us military and more. The otem has 3 main branches of service to the community, the first being the operation of an ever evolving and expanding museum, then by outreach services, and finally the historical preservation of artifacts and testimonies. The military museum of fort worth is a physical museum that is located in fort worth, texas and operates 5 days a week. It is also available for special tours for seniors and school children. The military museum of forth worths staff is all volunteer. The recent expansion of the museum allowed the otme to open a research library, the clifford merrill research library which houses more than 2,500 books and magazines focusing on the history of military history conflicts of the 20th century.the camp bowie trench provides an unique experience commermorting the us participation in wwi fighting.”
