PART IV, LINE 2B:

The organization is the fiduciary of funds for various ministries in the community. The organization reports these amounts as cash and a liability in its consolidated statements of financial position. The funds held in trust were $375,470 at december 31, 2024.

PART X, LINE 2:

Bhitc is a not-for-profit corporations as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is exempt from federal income taxes. Hopeworks, nehemiah, peripeti and common threads are single member llcs and disregarded entities for income tax purposes. The organization evaluates at each balance sheet date uncertain tax positions taken, if any, to determine the need to record liabilities for taxes, penalties, and interest. The organization's policy is to record interest and penalties on uncertain tax provisions as income tax expense. The organization had no accrued taxes, interest, or penalties related to uncertain tax positions. The organization estimates the unrecognized tax benefit will not change significantly within the next twelve months.
