Ywam ministries 1) dts projects - the discipleship training school provides men and women with the opportunity to understand the character of god so they can respond appropriately and apply that understanding to their personal life, home, and community. This encourages church growth by teaching bibilical understanding and evangelism. This also leads to short-term outreaches where they are able to share what they have learned throughout tamil nadu. 2) street children rescue & restore - literally takes children who have been abandoned and are struggling to survive day-by-day off the streets and provides them with an environment where they feel safe and experience unconditional love. All of their needs are provided. They receive food, clothing, education, and biblical teaching. Everything they need to become responsible procutive citizens.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 29

Orphanage projects in tamil nadu 1) baby home - concentrates on rescuing female babies from the practice of infanticide simply because they are female. Their goal is not only to save girl babies but to put a stop to the practice altogether. They conduct awareness programs in the villages to educate the people on the value of these precious girls and through these programs change the mindset of these people. 2) scripture ministry - concentrates on those girls who have been abandoned by their parents, or have been rescued from an abusive family environment, or are in a situation where their parents cannot care for them. 1) & 2) both ministries provide loving homes which provide food, clothing, education, and bible teaching. The girls are immersed in an environment which will help them to become responsible, productive citizens.

Form 990-ez, Part III, Line 30

Village upliftment through this project we support and work with four indigenous village pastors working in rural areas. They teach the lamb of god study which prepares them to tell others the gospel of jesus christ. They also organize tailoring schools to help women gain the skills necessary to support themselves. They provide and clothing to the poor, childcare, and school tutoring for children.
