A PLACE TO LIVE'S ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TRANSFERRED BETWEEN HOMESTEAD COMMUNITY LAND TRUST AND THE NEWLY ESTABLISHED BENSON EAST NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION (BENA). BENA'S RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE: PREPARING AND RECOMMENDING AN ANNUAL BUDGET OF MAINTNEANCE, WHICH REFLECTS TENANT PRIORITIES; WORKING WITH THE BENSON EAST TENANTS ASSOCIATION TO CLARIFY AND RESOLVE TENANT ISSUES, AND ESTABLISH A FORMAL GRIEVANCE PROCESS FOR THE BENSON EAST COMMUNITY; AND WORK WITH HOMESTEAD COMMUNITY LAND TRUST TO SELECT AND PROVIDE OVERSIGHT OF THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT FIRM TO MANAGE THE DAY-TO-DAY AFFAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF THE BENSON EAST COMMUNITY. BENA DID NOT RECEIVE ANY DISTRIBUTIONS OR TRANSFERS OF ASSETS FROM A PLACE TO LIVE AND WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY ALLOCATIONS OF PROFIT OR LOSS FROM BENSON EAST, LLC.
