The limited partnerships are developed and operated by Community HousingWorks (CHW), a California Nonprofit Corporation, as affordable housing for low-income persons. Each of these limited partnership's file a separate partnership tax return Form 1065 (federal) and Form 565 (state). Esperanza's mission to develop housing for low-income persons and to promote community development to improve the housing and economic conditions of the underprivileged is fulfilled through its participation as a limited partner in these limited partnerships.
