Preserve and protect the natural environment of Mission Trails Regional Park. Provide and promote educational and recretional opportunities.

Preserve,improve,develop and maintain mtrp and to foster public appreciation and understanding of the Park in cooperation with the City of San Diego by providing education programs,maintaining park facilities,supporting the park volunteer program and maintaining a Gift shop.

The Board of Directors has adopted the following process for reviewing Form 990 - A subcommittee of the Board will review the completed 990 and present its recommendations to the Board at a regular or special meeting.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 12C: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts

The Executive Director is responsible for maintaining current copies. The Executive Director is responsible for seeing that Conflict of Interest Statements are updated at least annually. If a potential conflict arises the Board member abstains from participating in deliberations and voting on the agenda item.

The Board of Directors is responsible for approving all employee compensation with actions taken by the Board documented in meeting minutes. No person with a conflict of interest is involved in compensation decisions.
