Mission

The organization was able to provide members with the resources to promote the education of the same group through the publications of informational periodicals, newsletters, manuals of practice for inspectors and other education materials; and to test and register inspectors to determine that they possess a minimum level of the skill and knowledge required to practice as a construction inspector in order to assure the public that buildings and lifeline infrastructures have been constructed to the standards of safety provided for in all applicable federal, state and local codes and to the design requirements of the plans and specifications.
