Upstate Caring Partners Holding

The organization acts as the sole member and parent of the following corporations and one limited liability company: upstate cerebral palsy, inc. (ucp), cerebral palsy association of the mohawk valley, inc. (cpa), kelberman center, inc. (kci), cnyhhn, inc. (cnyhhn), united cerebral palsy association of cayuga county, inc. (gavras center), the root farm, inc. (root farm), advocates incorporated, and upstate caring partners development llc (ucp development). Together the corporations are referred to as (the "affiliates"). Ucp, cpa, kci, cnyhhn, gavras center, the root farm, and advocates incorporated are all not-for-profit corporations which are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and are further classified as nonprivate foundations pursuant to sections 509(a)(1)/170(b)(1)(a)(vi) or section 509(a)(2). Ucp development is a limited liability company.

To support and assist upstate cerebral palsy and other not-for-profit corporations with similar missions to those enumerated herein including but not limited to the coordination of their missions, objectives, activities and resources with each other and with those of regional and national organizations and agencies that provide regional healthcare management and serve handicapped persons, including but not limited to individuals with cerebral palsy, autism, wounded war veterans and persons with other physical, mental or developmental disabilities, all in furtherance of the purpose of promoting efficient, effective and economical services to handicapped persons and enhancing the provision of healthcare services for individuals with health needs.
