Hamilton county area neighborhood development, inc. Has entered into an agreement with bradley company which provides various services to the corporation to manage and maintain the corporation's six-unit apartment complex, plum tree gardens; the corporation's eight residential units, the roper lofts; the corporation's five-unit community, lakeside gardens; the corporations eleven-unit community, cumberland cottages; and the corporation's community, southwood villas. The management contract encompasses the day-to-day operations of the project including, but not limited to, collection of rents, maintenance of facilities, supervision of staff, and ongoing support for both the owners and tenants as needed in order to establish a safe, sanitary, and affordable environment.

FORM 990, PART XII, LINE 2C:

The executive director and board treasurer receives the audit. Prior to the finalization of the audit, a copy of the audit is given to all of the board memebers for their comments. When the audit is up for bid, the board discusses the relationship with the current auditor and makes a determination as to whether to maintain this relationship or change to a new auditing firm.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The corporation is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and qualifies for the charitable contribution deduction under section 170(b)(1)(a) and has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under section 509(a)(2). Accordingly, no provision for federal and state taxes on revenue and income has been recognized in the accompanying financial statements. The organization recognizes a tax benefit only if it is more likely than not the tax position would be sustained in a tax examination, with a tax examination being presumed to occur. The amount recognized will be the largest amount of tax benefit that is greater than 50% likely of being realized on examination. For tax positions not meeting the more-likely-than-not test, no tax benefit will be recorded. With few exceptions, the corporation is no longer subject to examination by taxing authorities for the years before 2020.
