Any potential conflicts of interest are brought before the board of directors for consideration. During august of every year the new board convenes and the policy is reviewed. Members also complete questionnaires to disclose potential conflicts during this meeting.

The president elect and past president review comparability data to determine the compensation of the executive director and the associate executive director. The steering committee board then must approve the compensation package and an employment contract upholds the agreement.

THESE CAMPS ENCOURAGE LEADERSHIP AND SCHOOL SPIRIT WHICH THE PARTICIPANTS CARRY WITH THEM BACK TO THE SCHOOLS. THIS POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IS SHARED WITH THE OTHER STUDENTS AND MAKES FOR A BETTER ENVIRONMENT FOR THE SCHOOL PRINCIPALS TO MANAGE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES TRAINING TO THE CHEERLEADING COACHES AND STAFF OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED 2 CAMPS IN JULY OF 2019 WITH 441 PARTICIPANTS AND A STATE COMPETITION WITH 2,935 PARTICIPANTS. THE SCHEDULED CAMPS FOR JUNE OF 2020 WERE CANCELLED DUE TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS.
