Ohio National Guard Association

“Any active, reserve, or retired officer or warrant officer of the ohio national guard, including any such officer or warrant officer as may be on tours of extended active duty with the active army and air force, upon payment of annual dues as provided in the by-laws, may be a member of the association. In addition to regular membership, there shall also be classes of membership known as association membership, enlisted associate membership, retired membership, life membership, honorary membership and corporate membership.”

“Board of directors are elected by the majority of the membership present at the annual meeting either by voice count or ballot.”

“Any changes to the constitution, by-laws, and dues structure must be approved by the majority of membership present at the annual meeting”

“The form 990 is reviewed by the treasurer and executive director. The financial statement is reviewed by the board of directors.”

“The hiring of an executive director for the ohio national guard association must be in accordance with the voting members of the board of directors. The president puts forth the recommendation, and such recommendation must be approved by the voting members. The proposed salary for that position, and any subsequent raises, must also be approved by the voting members of the board of directors.”

The association promotes and works with ngaus with the intent to improve readiness, capabilities and the well-being of the nation's army and air national guards as a component of the armed forces of the united states.”
