UCC WHALE Center primary purpose is to: To Support work in providing education training and advocacy for the protection of the coastal and marine environments leveraging tourism in cooperation with the Blue Community Consortium and organizations with similar objectives. The facilitation of communication between the United Religions Initiative and other religious governmental and private spheres as to the developments of spiritual wellness and environmental concerns. 2. Description of three largest program areas Coastal Resiliency programs included attendance and presentation at the Sustainable Tourism Small Island Conference Working with the City of Key West to develop a pilot for the University of Central Florida Blue Community Certificate program. Collaboration with Hawaii Green Growth Initiative during Climate week in New York City. Providing an Educational Panel on coastal resiliency featuring our work with the Blue Mind Brain Health Initiative in New York City during Climate Week. Providing a celebration and educational program at Space220 at Walt Disney World EPCOT for the U.S. National Space Exploration Day providing an educational panel on coastal resiliency World Sustainable Ocean Summit in Barcelona Spain Providing expertise for the United Religions Initiative Environmental Network through monthly meetings throughout the year. Ongoing collaboration with Gamble Creek Farm Save the Soil Campaign and other organizations to reduce the impact of agriculture on estuaries bays and oceans. Participation in the United Nations Environment Program Major Stakeholders Group to further our work with our Global Healing Initiative. Education on sustainable transportation alternatives including the Aptera solar electric vehicle the Sunzee vehicle and planning alternatives to reduce CO2 emissions. Outcomes The WHALE Center Global Healing Initiative has now reached 928 members the Blue Community Consortium now has 45 organizational members of local governments academia business and not-for-profit organizations. It also now has 197 member in the Blue Community and 928 members in the Global Healing social media group. Through our educational programs we reached thousands of people in 2025”
