THE GROUP HAS BEENWORKING ON SEVERAL INITIATIVES TO IMPROVE ARTS EDUCATION POLICY THROUGH WORK WITH THE MA DESE, MABESE, AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS TO IMPROVE ACCESS AND PARTICIPATION IN ARTS EDUCATION IN EVERY SCHOOL DISTRICTIN THE COMMONWEALTH.SCHOOL ARTS LEADERS PROGRAM (SAL): WORKING WITH THREE AT-NEEDS SCHOOL DISTRICTS (SPRINGFIELD, WEYMOUTH,WORCESTER) TO HELP SCHOOL PRINCIPALS IN 5 SCHOOLS DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT AN ARTS STRATEGIC PLAN.
