Form 990, Part III, Line 4D

Other program services 4: food pantry - as a food pantry for the westmoreland county food bank, the organization provides boxes of food and vouchers for fresh milk and eggs. Approximately 1,141 boxes of food were given during the year ended june 30, 2024. Other program services 5: donations & emergency cash assistance - direct cash assistance is occasionally provided in emergency situations to help indigent individuals with rent, utilities, medical and other basic immediate needs. Donations are also made to other local nonprofit organizations in need of emergency funding. Approximately $1,484 was paid out during the year ended june 30, 2024. Other program services 6: emergency bed program - this program provides a bed or crib to children who are in immediate need as a result of their parents being unable to provide one. Providing a bed or crib helps these children avoid ending up in the foster care system. During the year ended june 30, 2024, approximatley 119 local children received a bed or crib. Other program services 7: emergency food pantry - this program is designed to meet the needs of those who are in immediate need of assistance with food. These are families and individuals who either have not yet been approved by the westmoreland county food bank, or the food provided by the food bank was not sufficient. The goal is to provide a few days of food and to assist with applications for additional government help. During the year ended june 30, 2024, approximately 90 boxes of food were provided. Other program services 8: the larry r. Garlock veterans program provides additional clothing and household items to homeless veterans who are transitioning to their own housing. During the year ended june 30, 2024, the program helped 7 veterans.

DONATIONS ARE ALSO MADE TO OTHER LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN NEED OF EMERGENCY FUNDING. APPROXIMATELY $1,484 WAS PAID OUT DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2024.
