Mission

The center will use its resources for information sharing and member assistance to incubate new technology-based entrepreneurs who are trying to establish a presence in the marketplace. The center will research, identify, teach and disseminate the critical skills values that enable entrepreneurs to succeed. The center will foster economic development and maintain a network of other successful technology-based entrepreneurs for self-help and peer support in the nine county region. The center will encourage others to support entrepreneurship.

To be a catalyst for stimulating entrepreneurial leadership from all sectors of the regional community & incubate new technology based business.

A copy of form 990 is provided to the organization's full board of directors prior to filing. Form 990 is reviewed by the president, the director of finance, and the finance committee prior to filing.

Annually each board member is asked to sign the conflict of interest policy; all are required and the process is closely monitored.

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

Four members of the executive committee (chair, vice chair, treasurer, and immediate past president) review the written performance review criteria and make decisions regarding the compensation of the president. If the outcome is a change in compensation, the board chair informs the president, initiates and signs all necessary paperwork. The board chair then negotiates the upcoming year's performance criteria with the president. The same procedure is used by the president to evaluate the other staff members.
