The executive committee consists of the class a directors and an additional member of the board elected by the class a directors. CGEP WORKS WITH SMALLHOLDER FARMERS, FISHERS, WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS, AND YOUTH TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVELIHOODS BY PROVIDING THE TOOLS THEY NEED FROM TRAINING AND FINANCING TO TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION AND BRINGING THEM INTO MARKETS WHERE THEY CAN PROSPER. CGEP INCORPORATES INDIVIDUALS INTO ONE OF THREE MARKET-DRIVEN MODELS SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESSES, INCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION BUSINESSES, AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER BUSINESSES. THROUGH THESE MODELS, CGEP SEEKS TO HELP PEOPLE WORK THEMSELVES OUT OF POVERTY. In 2016, CGEP expanded its work connecting smallholder farmers with high-value markets.”
