The organization's property is managed by community housing network, inc, a 501(c)(3)nonprofit, pursuant to a property management agreement approved by hud. Ceo, susan weaver, coo, anthony penn and finance director, larry martin are employees of community housing network but a portion of their job function is spent performing work for the filing organization. Their compensation can be found on part vii.

The trustees of the organization are either members of the sponsoring organization, community housing network, inc. (chn) a 501(c)3 nonprofit, or have approval of chn. A trustee of the organization is automatically resigned in the event the trustee loses approval from chn or is no longer a trustee of chn.

The finance director thoroughly reviews the return, compares it to the audited results and reviews all questions for accuracy. Upon satisfying himself as to the accuracy of the return, he reports his finds to the board and obtains their approval to file the return.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization accounts for uncertainty in income taxes in accordance with asc 740 income taxes. This interpretation prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for the financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. This interpretation also provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosure and transition. The organization has determined that all income tax filing positions would be sustained upon examination and accordingly, the organization has not recorded any reserves, or related accruals for interest and penalties for uncertain income tax positions pursuant to asc 740 income taxes as of december 31, 2014 and 2013. The organization's previously filed income tax returns for the tax years ended december 31, 2011, 2012, and 2013 remain subject to examination by a taxing authority. The organization's income tax returns for the tax year ended december 31, 2014 have not been filed and remain subject to examination by a taxing authority.
