Deferred tax assets or liabilities at the end of each period are determined using the currently enacted tax rate expected to be realized or settled. As of December 31, 2014, the Organization had deferred tax assets of $2,138,000.”
“Effective December 22 2014 Bayfront Health Foundation, Inc merged with Foundation for a Healthy St Petersburg (FHSP) and transferred its endowments to FHSP. Schedule D, Part V Line 4 Bayfront Health Foundation Permanently Endowed Funds As of 2014 Aucremann Endowment for Medical Education Dr. Aucremann founded the Family Practice Residency Program for physicians at Bayfront, serving as director from 1972 until 1987. He was not only the architect of but also the champion for medical education at Bayfront. His commitment to ensuring that our hospital provides the highest level of training possible for medical professionals never wavered throughout his life. Dr. Aucremann passed away in 2002 at the age of 85. The Charles Aucremann Endowment for Medical Education, established in 1997, provides a permanent source of funds to support what is a priority at Bayfront - medical education. The Bayfront Health Foundation Board of Trustees voted to allow the corpus of the Aucremann Fund to grow until such time as it reached $1 million so that the interest it earned would be of an amount large enough to have a substantial impact on annual needs in the medical education arena for Bayfront. Feaster Endowment for Compassionate Care The Dr. B. Lynn Feaster, Jr. Compassionate Care Award, created in 2004, is a remembrance of Dr. Feaster's lifetime practice of the art of medicine. Dr. Feaster had an enduring dedication to compassionate care and service to Bayfront Medical Center and the St. Petersburg community. He was born in Mound Park Hospital in 1924 and died in that same institution, now Bayfront Medical Center, seventy-five years later. For thirty-seven years he ministered tirelessly to his patients in their hospital rooms and in their homes. Dr. Feaster's family established a permanent endowment at the Bayfront Health Foundation in 2004 so that a monetary prize for compassionate care could be awarded annually to a Bayfront Team Member who best reflects the qualities of delivering excellent, compassionate care. Bayfront Medical Staff Endowment for Medical Education Established in 1997 by the BMC Medical Council, the Bayfront Medical Staff endowment was created to provide a lasting source of funding for medical education priorities at Bayfront Medical Center. Interest earned from the permanently restricted fund in the Bayfront Health Foundation will be used for the general purpose of medical education. The scope of medical education is broad intentionally in order to accommodate the evolution of these priorities over time. The process for determining priorities annually should focus on benefit to Bayfront physicians and on items/areas that would not be funded ordinarily out of operating expenses. Ideally, the funded priorities would represent something that no other hospital would have and that would set Bayfront apart. Examples of appropriate uses are: nursing scholarships, medical library materials, eminent scholar residency, and research projects. Auxiliary of Bayfront Medical Center Endowment Established by the volunteer Auxiliary of Bayfront Medical Center, the purpose of the fund is to provide financial resources for scholarships for the benefit of Bayfront employees and their dependants. Ethel Hill Endowment for Nursing Ethel was a former Assistant Vice President of Nursing at Bayfront Medical Center, known as Mound Park when she began her career here. In 1979, as she celebrated her 50th year in nursing, her many friends and colleagues contributed to an endowment named in recognition of her many years of service and contributions not only to the Bayfront nursing staff, but also to the nursing profession as a whole. The goal of the fund is to ensure that resources are always available to those pursuing further knowledge in nursing studies. Schedule D, Part V Line 4 Bayfront Health Foundation Permanently Endowed Funds As of 2014 Aucremann Endowment for Medical Education Dr. Aucremann founded the Family Practice Residency Program for physicians at Bayfront, serving as director from 1972 until 1987. He was not only the architect of but also the champion for medical education at Bayfront. His commitment to ensuring that our hospital provides the highest level of training possible for medical professionals never wavered throughout his life. Dr. Aucremann passed away in 2002 at the age of 85. The Charles Aucremann Endowment for Medical Education, established in 1997, provides a permanent source of funds to support what is a priority at Bayfront - medical education. The Bayfront Health Foundation Board of Trustees voted to allow the corpus of the Aucremann Fund to grow until such time as it reached $1 million so that the interest it earned would be of an amount large enough to have a substantial impact on annual needs in the medical education arena for Bayfront. Feaster Endowment for Compassionate Care The Dr. B. Lynn Feaster, Jr. Compassionate Care Award, created in 2004, is a remembrance of Dr. Feaster's lifetime practice of the art of medicine. Dr. Feaster had an enduring dedication to compassionate care and service to Bayfront Medical Center and the St. Petersburg community. He was born in Mound Park Hospital in 1924 and died in that same institution, now Bayfront Medical Center, seventy-five years later. For thirty-seven years he ministered tirelessly to his patients in their hospital rooms and in their homes. Dr. Feaster's family established a permanent endowment at the Bayfront Health Foundation in 2004 so that a monetary prize for compassionate care could be awarded annually to a Bayfront Team Member who best reflects the qualities of delivering excellent, compassionate care. Bayfront Medical Staff Endowment for Medical Education Established in 1997 by the BMC Medical Council, the Bayfront Medical Staff endowment was created to provide a lasting source of funding for medical education priorities at Bayfront Medical Center. Interest earned from the permanently restricted fund in the Bayfront Health Foundation will be used for the general purpose of medical education. The scope of medical education is broad intentionally in order to accommodate the evolution of these priorities over time. The process for determining priorities annually should focus on benefit to Bayfront physicians and on items/areas that would not be funded ordinarily out of operating expenses. Ideally, the funded priorities would represent something that no other hospital would have and that would set Bayfront apart. Examples of appropriate uses are: nursing scholarships, medical library materials, eminent scholar residency, and research projects. Auxiliary of Bayfront Medical Center Endowment Established by the volunteer Auxiliary of Bayfront Medical Center, the purpose of the fund is to provide financial resources for scholarships for the benefit of Bayfront employees and their dependants. Ethel Hill Endowment for Nursing Ethel was a former Assistant Vice President of Nursing at Bayfront Medical Center, known as Mound Park when she began her career here. In 1979, as she celebrated her 50th year in nursing, her many friends and colleagues contributed to an endowment named in recognition of her many years of service and contributions not only to the Bayfront nursing staff, but also to the nursing profession as a whole. The goal of the fund is to ensure that resources are always available to those pursuing further knowledge in nursing studies.
