(D) AVAILABILITY OF PUBLIC FACILITIES OR SERVICES, PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN PROGRAMS FMH PROVIDES TOURS OF MUSIC HALL. THE TOUR HIGHLIGHTS THE HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS OF THE HALL. THE TOURS ARE PROVIDED BY FMH VOLUNTEERS. THE TOURS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND ADVERTISED ON THE WEBSITE. FMH CHARGES A NOMINAL FEE FOR THE TOUR, WHICH HELPS TO ENSURE THAT THE PUBLIC HAS THE BEHIND THE SCENES ACCESS TO MUSIC HALL. FMH ALSO HOLDS 4 CONCERTS A YEAR FEATURING THE MIGHTY WURLITZER ORGAN AND EACH CONCERT HAS BEEN SOLD OUT. FMH PROVIDES FUNDING FOR REPAIRS AND THE RENOVATION OF MUSIC HALL FOR THE CONTINUED ENJOYMENT OF THE PUBLIC. THESE REPAIRS INCLUDE FOR EXAMPLE, HOUSE CURTAIN, HALL LIGHTING, RESTORED AND REFURBISHED PAINTINGS, HANDRAILS, HALL ENTRIES, BALLROOM AND LOBBY FLOORS, RESTROOMS, CARPETS. FMH HAS ALSO FOCUSED ON THE PRESERVATION AND DISPLAY OF CARVED WOODEN PANELS. THESE PANELS ARE EXCELLENT REPRESENTATIONS OF THE CINCINNATI ART-CARVED FURNITURE MOVEMENT OF THE 19TH CENTURY. THE RESTORED PANELS ARE DISPLAYED FOR THE PUBLIC IN MUSIC HALL. |
