To create compassionate pathways for women's addiction recovery through an integrated continuum of services to achieve self-sufficiency.

To assist women in rebuilding their families as they break the cycle of drug and alcohol addiction and improve their mental health status so that they can return to their communities as self-sufficient women capable of providing a safe and nurturing environment for their children and themselves.

DURING FISCAL YEAR 2019, 188 WOMEN WERE ADMITTED TO OUR RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM. WE PROVIDED OVER 720 BED DAYS FOR CHILDREN THAT LIVED WITH THEIR MOTHERS WHILE THEY WERE IN TREATMENT. 41 BABIES WERE BORN DRUG FREE TO CLIENTS DURING TREATMENT. THE AVERAGE AGE OF OUR CLIENTS WAS 31. AS REPORTED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, THE "OPIATE EPIDEMIC" HAS HIT OUR CLIENTS. 62% OF OUR CLIENTS HAVE AN OPIATE ADDICTION, DOWN SLIGHTLY FROM THE PAST FEW YEARS AS WE ARE NOW SEEING INCREASES IN THE USE OF METHAMPHETAMINES AND ALCOHOL. OUR CLIENTS RECEIVED OVER 4,862 NIGHTS OF ROOM AND BOARD, ALONG WITH 671 HOURS OF INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING, 364 HOURS OF GROUP COUNSELING, AND 968 HOURS OF CASE MANAGEMENT.

WE HAVE TWO LOWER LEVELS OF CARE IN OUTPATIENT: ONE AT 6 DAYS OF TREATMENT PER WEEK AND A LOWER LEVEL OF 3 DAYS OF TREATMENT PER WEEK. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2019, 173 UNDUPLICATED CLIENTS RECEIVED SERVICE IN OUR OUTPATIENT PROGRAMS. DURING FY 2019 OUR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING SERVICES ON OUR CAMPUS PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 24,586 BED DAYS TO THE CLIENTS RECEIVING OUTPATIENT SERVICES AT FIRST STEP HOME.
