The executive director's compensation is determined by the board. Budgets are prepared and approved by the board at the beginning of each fiscal year and a determination for increases is made at that time. The executive director does a performance appraisal review in january for each employee and then assigns increases as specified in the budget.

Financial Statement Notes

PART IV, LINE 2B:

The organization, as it collects mortgage payments from its mortgagees, also collects escrow payments for the purpose of paying property insurance and taxes on the mortgaged property.

PART X, LINE 2:

Accounting for uncertainty in income taxes the center, as an affiliate of the fuller center for housing, inc., is exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. It has been classified as an organization that is not a private foundation under section 509(a)(2) of the internal revenue code. There is, therefore, no provision for income taxes in these financial statements. Annually, the center files form 990, return of organizations exempt from income tax, with the internal revenue service. This form is open for public inspection.
