The grove city area convention and visitors bureau developed campaign strategies and invested in marketing and advertising outside central ohio and beyond. A few key campaign metrics include: -998k in measured visitor spend resulting from one targeted digital campaign with a 20:1 return on investment. This campaign ran for less than three months and yielded 4,400 actual visitors and 12,800 non-cash transactions; the campaign reached over 584k unique individuals, increasing awareness of grove city as a destination. -our website, visitgrovecityoh.com, had over 255k views by users seeking local information with 706k user events. -ohiotraveler.com receives approximately 70,000 unique visitors/month, 300,000 page views/month, an average of about four pages visited per visitor, and 70,000 social media followers. Visit grove city has a rotating ad that runs on every page and refreshed position with every refresh of the page. Our ads received 4343 click-thrus on ohiotraveler.com. -ohio travel pavilion is present at trade shows around ohio and surrounding states. Approximately 3,900 guides were distributed in 2024 and visit grove city has 2 banners that are displayed at every show. -tourismohio co-op paid social media for july and august garnered 234,239 impressions and 10,232 clicks to our website. -300+ approx night stays influenced by vgc: weddings, msxl paintball tournament, school band competition & reunions (average room rate 129.00 x 300 = 38,700 positive lodging overnights) -ohio road trips (brandy gleason) grove city staycation sponsored social results: 313,568 impressions | 29,131 engagements -200+ group tour bags, events/new resident kits, and custom informational bags handed out

Beginning with the tax year ending december 31, 2024, the organization changed its method of accounting from the cash basis to the accrual basis. This change was made to comply with generally accepted accounting principles (gaap) and to provide a more accurate and complete presentation of the organizations financial activities and position. The accrual method more appropriately matches revenues and expenses to the periods in which they are earned or incurred. This change was implemented in connection with the organizations 2024 annual compilation engagement.

The organization is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(6) of the internal revenue code. As a tax-exempt entity, the organization is not subject to income tax on revenue that is directly related to its exempt purpose, which includes promoting tourism and supporting local businesses. However, the organization may be subject to taxation on unrelated business income, if applicable, and is required to comply with all relevant federal, state, and local tax laws and reporting requirements. Management is responsible for ensuring that the organization operates in compliance with the regulations governing tax-exempt entities, including maintaining its status as a 501(c)(6)organization. The organization files form 990 annually with the internal revenue service. The organizations federal exempt tax returns are subject to examination by the internal revenue service, generally for three years after they are filed. All tax returns for the years ending after december 31, 2021 are open for examination.
