The board reviews the 990 at a board meeting. If the 990 has not been reviewed at the most recent board meeting and needs to be submitted before the next board meeting, the 990 is scanned and sent to the board as an e- mail attachment.

Form 990, Page 6, Part VI, Line 12C

The board annually reviews the conflict of interest policy and signs it each year. The employee handbook includes a conflict of interest policy. This is reviewed with employees. The employee receives a copy of it and signs to authorize that he/she received it. Administration monitors compliance to the conflict of interest, and addresses any potential conflict of interest on a case by case basis. Any conflict of interest with the board is addressed by the board chair and/or board executive committee.

The board annually reviews the compensation of the executive(s). All administrative compensation is determined when developing the annual budget. The budget and compensation are reviewed and approved by the board finance committee and then by the board itself. Most changes in administrative compensation are the same as changes to overall staff compensation (cost of living increase, annual increase, etc.)
