Mission
Showcase america unlimited, was founded in 1985 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the education of color guards, drill teams, sponsors and directors. Every team that competes in any kind of endeavor thrives on the desire and motivation to win. Although this is important, the major goal of showcase america unlimited competitions is to provide an opportunity for the young men and women to enjoy themselves, make new friends, and learn their own potentials individually and as a team.

“There are roughly 20 competitions/contests that are put on each year including 3 state events (ohio, indiana and michigan) and a national event that is held in kentucky. Scau is responsible for providing the following for each competition/contest (including, but not limited to): judges to evaluate each performance, a portion of the trophies/awards that are provided, assistance with the schedule of events/performances for the day, schoresheets that are provided to each competing team and overall organization of the event/day. Scau is also responsible for a summer camp program that is put on by the camp instructors. The scau dance instructors travel around the states, putting on 1-3 day dance camps for teams that are interested.”

SCAU IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THE FOLLOWING FOR EACH COMPETITION/CONTEST (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO): JUDGES TO EVALUATE EACH PERFORMANCE, A PORTION OF THE TROPHIES/AWARDS THAT ARE PROVIDED, ASSISTANCE WITH THE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS/PERFORMANCES FOR THE DAY, SCHORESHEETS THAT ARE PROVIDED TO EACH COMPETING TEAM AND OVERALL ORGANIZATION OF THE EVENT/DAY. SCAU IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR A SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM THAT IS PUT ON BY THE CAMP INSTRUCTORS. THE SCAU DANCE INSTRUCTORS TRAVEL AROUND THE STATES, PUTTING ON 1-3 DAY DANCE CAMPS FOR TEAMS THAT ARE INTERESTED. |
