“The organization has members who pay annual memberships for the economic development and advance of the community and the surrounding area.”

Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11B

“Once the 990 is prepared by the external accountant, the CFO reviews and makes sure all numbers reconcile to the accounting system and the audited financial statements. A QuickBooks tax software is also utilized by the CFO to compare the details entered by the external accountant and those figures agree with the numbers entered into the accounting system. The audit report is submitted by the CFO to the Board of Trustees for their acceptance and approval and the audit report contains the numbers for the 990. This information is communicated to the Board of Trustees.”
