OUR CPA FIRM HAD GONE THROUGH A SOFTWARE CONVERSION OF OUR DUE DATE SYSTEM DURING THE YEAR, AND DURING THAT PROCESS THE DUE DATE OF THIS RETURN WAS INCORRECTLTY ROLLED TO THER WRONG YEAR-END. WHEN THE DUE DATE REPORTS FOR FEB. 15TH, 2018 WERE RUN AND CHECKED, THIS RETURN DID NOT SHOW UP ON THE REPORTS. THIS ERROR WAS NOT CAUGHT UNTIL THE PREPARATION OF THE RETURN. TAXPAYER RELIED ON THEIR CPA TO TIMELY FILE THE EXTENSION, AND THEY ACTED IN GOOD FAITH. OUR FIRM HAS CORRECTED THE MISTAKE AND HAS INSTIGATED PROCEDURES TO INSURE THAT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE. THIS IS A SMALL ORGANIZATION, AND THE PENATLY WOULD BE A GREAT FINANCIAL BURDEN ON THEM. THEY HAVE A GOOD FILING RECORD IN PAST YEARS. |
