However, in situations in which actions are required to be taken, ffc housing - tennessee would follow foundation for the challenged's conflict of interest policy. The foundation for the challenged's conflict of interest policy applies to all officers and directors on the board of directors prior to signing new business agreements, the board ensures that no directors or officers have an interest in that business. If any conflicts of interest arise, they are brought to the attention of the board of directors throughout the year. Any director or officer who has a conflict of interest must abstain from voting.

Ffc housing - tennessee is a qualified tax-exempt corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Accordingly, these consolidated financial statements do not include a provision for income taxes. Accounting principles generally accepted in the united states of america require management to evaluate tax positions taken by the foundation and recognize a tax liability if the foundation has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would be sustained upon examination by the irs or other applicable taxing authorities. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the foundation and has concluded that as of december 31, 2024 and 2023, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability or disclosure in the consolidated financial statements.
