Mission

Child focus, inc. Serves over 5,000 youth, ages prenatal to young adulthood on an annual basis. Our private not for profit 501(c)(3) agency and its 493 staff, 737 volunteers and 30 licensed foster homes help us provide a broad range of early learning, mental health, school and foster care services with an annual agency budget of 18.5 million.

The 990 is reviewed by the finance committee and presented to the board of directors for acceptance. It is then filed.

this is done through the corporate compliance committee. also, the finance committee reviews all related party transactions. Potential conflicts are handled on a case by case basis. Each board member must read and sign the policy annually.

the board of directors developed a compensation committee to review ceo salary, benefits, wage comparability, annual evaluation and goals. they review this information with the whole Board with a recommendation for compensation. the board of directors approves. the ceo determines all other employees' compensation. each employee has an annual evaluation. salary surveys are used to compare compensation. 990s are also used as comparability data.
