PART V, LINE 4:

Unrstricted funds held in the endowment fund are held in reserve for unexpected needs and contingencies of the agency. Restricted funds held in the endowment fund will be used for education and training programs of the agency.

PART X, LINE 2:

Opportunities industrialization center of clark county, inc. Is exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. However, income from certain activities not directly related to the agency's tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. The agency's reporting returns are subject to audit by federal and state taxing authoritites. No income tax provision has been included in the financial statements as the agency has determined it does not have unrelated business income subject to taxation.
