The organization runs programs at rikers island, horizon, and crossroads juvenile detention centers, as well as alternative-to-detention and post incarceration programs.

The organization's goals include strengthening the self-concept of youth participants and the ability to apply learned skills to real life circumstances, increasing transformational relationships with mentors and peers, increasing safe spaces for young people to explore healthy risk- taking, increasing institutional buy-in and staff support of arts programming for incarcerated and justice involved youth, and strengthening the field of arts programming through collecting research on mitigating trauma and enhancing healing for justice-involved young people. The organization runs multi-site, multi-program company of improv theatre workshops, classes and performances that serves approximately 500-700 youth annually who are incarcerated, involved or at high risk for involvement with the criminal legal system.

Part x, line 2: the organization does not believe there are any material uncertain tax positions and, accordingly, it has not recognized any liability for unrecognized tax benefits. The organization has filed irs form 990 tax returns, as required, and all other applicable returns in jurisdictions where it is required. For the year ended june 30, 2025, there was no interest or penalties recorded or included in the statement of activities.
