THE ORGANIZATION NORMALLY MEETS THE PUBLIC SUPPORT TEST AND HAS PUBLIC SUPPORT OF OF OVER 10% IN 2023 AS SHOWN BY SCHEDULE A, PART II.THE ORGANIZATION HAS BONA FIDE CONTINUOUS PUBLIC SOLICITATIONS PROGRAMS IN THE FORM OF DONATION REQUESTS AND GRANTS. ASC IS CURRENTLY PURSUING ADDITIONAL DONATIONS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC AS WELL AS INCREASING ITS OUTREACH EFFORTS TO LOCAL BUSINESSES.THE ASC WAS FOUNDED IN 2012 TO SPREAD PRACTICAL GRAIN TRADING SKILLS, SPECIFICALLY "BASIS TRADING" EDUCATION, TO A WIDER SECTION OF THE AG SECTOR. BASIS TRADING IS THE WAY SUCCESSFUL GRAIN COMPANIES MOVE GRAIN FROM WHERE IT IS ORIGINATED TO WHERE IT IS NEEDED. IT IS A SIMPLE PROCESS THAT IF DONE SUCCESSFULLY CAN TRANSFORM A GRAIN HANDLING FACILITY INTO AN ORGANIZATION PROVIDING NEEDED SERVICES TO GRAIN PRODUCERS AS WELL AS END USERS.IN ADDITION, ASC'S MERCHANDISING SKILL BUILDING PROGRAM (MSBP) EXISTS TO DEVELOP GRAIN MERCHANDISING SKILLS IN INDIVIDUALS SEEKING A CAREER IN AGRICULTURE. WE TEACH MERCHANDISING FROM A COMMERCIAL GRAIN ELEVATOR PERSPECTIVE USING GENERALLY ACCEPTED GRAIN INDUSTRY PRACTICES.OUR AIM IS TO DEVELOP SKILLED MERCHANDISERS, GRAIN ORIGINATORS, AND SUPPORT PERSONNEL WHO HAVE FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE IN A BROAD RANGE OF THE BUSINESS SIDE OF THE DAILY OPERATIONS OF A GRAIN BUSINESS. THIS INCLUDES ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BUYING AND SELLING BASIS, MANAGING SPREADS, KEEPING A BALANCED POSITION, MARK TO MARKET ACCOUNTING, GRAIN ORIGINATION AND OVERALL MANAGEMENT.WE WANT TO DEVELOP PEOPLE THAT WILL BE ABLE TO INCREASE A COMPANY'S SPHERE OF INFLUENCE.THE PROGRAM WILL EXPOSE THE TRAINEES TO THE CORE PRINCIPLES THAT MAKE GRAIN BUSINESSES SUCCESSFUL. OUR METHODOLOGY WILL INCLUDE WORKSHOP INSTRUCTION, ONLINE CLASSES, FACILITY TOURS, AND ONSITE MENTORING AT GRAIN ELEVATORS.
