“The purpose of the mattawan area pantry is to provide an opportunity for neighbors to help neighbors by providing food assistance to families in need who reside in the mattawan school district. Map operates a food pantry as an independent, faith-based, not-for-profit corporation in order to serve those who need food assistance. Assistance will be provided to community and county residents. The pantry operates with assistance from individuals and organizations contributing both food and monies. We provide food without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activities.”

“Providing food assistance to families in need who reside in the mattawan school district. The organization purchased and received over 126,000 pounds of food that was used to serve a total of 8,030 people in 2023 that included 2,218 households, 3,984 children, 1,401 seniors, and 343 veterans. The pantry held distributions on the first and third saturdays of the month throughout the year.”
